SUCKS!!!
This is the first time Ive ever had to use them in my 22 years of existence and it is not fun. To some this would seem like one of those "duh" kind of things I just didnt realize how big a PITA it really is to have to hobble your *** around everywhere. For instance just getting a glass of water from the kitchen to the couch is an ordeal, you have to set the glass as far away from you as you can on the table, hobble around, pick it up move it further, then stretch from the table to the coffee table by the couch, what a PITA, not to mention narrow hallways. And to top it off my phone doesnt work right now, only text messaging and every once in a while Ill get a phone call that comes through only to get dropped. But I cant go get a new phone because my GFs apt is on the second floor and trying to go up/down those is a whole nother story. Just had to vent, kinda getting cabin fever after being couped up inside for the last two weeks, only two more weeks before I can be released out into the normal population with a badass black boot.

You didnt miss anything I havent been on in about a week and a half. Broke my fibula about an inch above my ankle playing football two fridays ago, had a 4" titanium plate and 10 screws added onto my mod list last thursday. FYI 1500mgs of hydrocodone will make your stomach hurt if there isnt anything in it

lol....mybad...you're catching up to me in medical mods I don't even have a fibula any more! That sucks dude, I know the pain. I can do wonders with crutches, you get used to using them pretty quick. Use your arms not your armpits, lol.
*** that hydocodone crap, **** makes me sick!

I learned really quick to lock my elbows so the damn crutches didnt turn my underarms into hamburger meat. I think once Im all better Ill probably sell my bike too, I havent ridden it in a while, I could use the money elsewhere and people are just starting to drive too crazy in Austin, I cant afford to be out of work for a month at a time again, and Im sure Ill be in this same predicament again if I continue to ride my bike.

The way I look at it:
I do the things I do even if risky because I enjoy doing them.
I work to afford to do those things.
If I can't go and enjoy my bike, car, horse, skis, whatever than I might as well just hang it up.
Don't put down the horse cause you got bucked, get on and ride that sucker like you stole it.
Yes there is a chance you will get hurt and if you are not comfortable with riding then by all means walk away from it. There are people I know who have beautiful bikes and should not be riding, even if they have for 10 years.
They way i see it I could get smacked by a car crossing the road or die from some horrible disease in a month.

I see you point of view for sure but people are just crazy these days. Every time I take out my 4ton big *** truck I almost get sideswiped let alone on my bike. Im not afraid of riding in the least but, the money I have tied up in it could be used elsewhere better since I hardly ever ride it due to time constraints with work and other obligations. Hell Ive even thought of selling my truck for a little **** box since I only drive it when I go on a trip but I dont think I can go that far lol. Ive learned alot in my 4 years of riding my bike and its been fun but I just dont use it enough to justify the insurance on it(almost 100 a mo) and the 3K would be a nice payment on the balance of my truck. I want to mod my new truck but I just cant in good conscience spend 6K on a built trans and 5K on the suspension like I want to when its not paid off. At this point its just not a wise financial decision maybe in a few years once work slows down I will get another one.
