Livernois tuned an ecoboost tuarus sho and it runs right a long with the new GTs, so I imagine one of these tuned would be pretty stout but thats about where the mods would end for a long time I bet. Im too cheap, Ill stick with my old pushrod V8.

GM needs to slap that new V6 (the one in the camaros) with a turbo in the trucks...that's should go along them fords....and be good on gas....right???

 

I would like to see one with some mods done to it. Here is a drag race video that I found. looks like the eco boost will run high 14's stock (14.9 even though they claim they ran a 14.6 in the video). either way not bad for a factory truck!

imo dodge is better too , they have factory trucks turning 13's .

gm has the ability to do it . they have the motor's . i would rather have a 400 hp n/a v8 motor than a boosted v6.

will they do it , dunno. i have a new truck and i wont mod it because i like warranty . ill keep modding my out of warranty trucks for now
