Your one of those people who goes to a movie and then tells his friends the ending aren't you? LOL
Jake, blast them already, at the very minimum for being complete dicks as far as customer service is concerned. If they act that way they sure as hell better back it up and by the way things went they had problems just packing a box correctly.

I'm giving them one more chance to back up their product. Hopefully the customer service comes though, if anything. I've done nothing but pore over 4L80e diagrams and parts breakdowns for the past 24 hours, so I have a pretty good idea of where the errors could be. I am expecting a call back tomorrow about what may have been forgotten in my valve body; I will update when I know something. Shame that this happened again cause I have more cool upgrades for the truck on the way right now...

It still sucks being an established companies guenie pig though when they screw something up. A big reason of why we go with a particular company is because they know what they are doing...
Its a shame Gilbert isnt more active on these forums, although I know he is very busy actually working
Ive been beating the crap out of this trans and its still rocking along like the first day I got it. I do avoid 4 to 2 highway downshifts though.

I've been a guinea pig way too many times lol...which is why I have taken to doing everything myself. Just too much risk when anyone else is involved. Gilbert seems to give sound advice from what I see, and Vince builds solid stuff. I beat the **** out of Julien's truck when I was tuning it (under his explicit direction lol..) and his Vince-built trans kept asking for more. Good on you to avoid that 4>2 downshift...after seeing how torque makes its way through the input carrier when the selector is in D, I don't think I'll ever beat on it again in that gear...just asking for trouble.
