As the title says I will start working for ford next week...lol It's been a hard year and a half since I got laid off at the last job I liked. Working construction sucks *** but it paid the bills. Turning wrenches is what I love to do. I just feel lucky to be doing it again and to find a good job in this economy. I will be chevy at heart, but ford will soon be paying the bills.

Thanks for all the congrats. I will drive my chevy proud to work everyday!!! I was over there today and one of the salesmen said "nice truck" I replied it's kinda sacrilegious to dive it on this lot. He replied" it's kinda sacrilegious for me to say a chevy is a nice truck" we both laughed. I think I'm going to like the new job.

I have a strong backgroud working on diesels. I've worked on forklifts and heavy equipment for 10 years. Their diesel tech needs help in a bad way, so I will be his helper until I get certified. Not glamorous work, but I am willing to start anywhere.
