This area has just about died. Everyone is hurting. I do low voltage wiring, as well, and nothing has turned up. People just flat aren't spending any money.

Hopefully something starts moving soon.

That is one thing I am extremely crappy at. It isn't something I normally do as a business, and I have very little creativity with websites.

Actually yes. But a buddy of mine does it for a living, so I refer them to him. He gives me a $200 finder's fee for doing so.

Anything construction/ home repair related has all but died off here. They say employment numbers here are strong, but the work isn't there. I normally pickup one good size network wiring job a month but right now there is nothing. Hoping things pick back up next week.

We actually have things inline for a fairly large job in the next few weeks. Should put us back on top for awhile.

Nothing like getting kicked while you are down. Things turned for the worse in our business. Long story

I decided to go talk to my CPA and get some advice. I filled the paper work to start my own business, walked back into the family business and told my Dad he was retiring. To my surprise, he just said, OK.

Going Monday to get the necessary stuff to get my LLC, and then to open a new business checking account. I have some jobs lined up for next week, and about 20 computers on the shelf needing repairs or ready to pick up.

In addition to my normal business ad's, I have an ad on craigslist for small auto repair. Tomorrow I am working on a S-10 and a Suburban. Sunday I go pick up a 05 Mustang. tonight I drove home a 04 Taurus. I have more working lining up, this was just as much as I could handle right now.

Basically, the family business as it was, (in my Dad's name) just had the last nail driven into the coffin. I have been pushing money back into his business all year only to find out bill weren't being paid and money wasn't being well managed. I decided it was time that I earned something back for my investments I have been making.

We are running a $30 clean up special, which is unheard of in my area, and I am building computers to customers spec's at super super low mark up for a limited time. Trying to do things to stir up some foot traffic through the store.

If I am going down, I am going down swinging.
