Exactly, but the conversion to run the E85 doesn't look any more difficult than half of the stuff people do to their cars and trucks on here. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but from what I've read all it takes is teflon lined or metal fuel lines, teflon lines or metal fuel tank, different injectors, raise compression, and a new pcm or tune to take advantage of the higher octane fuel.

I am not sure if that is everything but some sites say that for around $200 the conversion can be done. Also there is some law stating that it is illegal to change the type of fuel a car runs on, again I'm not sure but I'll do some more research on it. You can also expect a 20% loss in fuel economy, and I could care less about the environment but ethanol is better on the enviro than gas is. BUT, to me the reason I'm going to support this is because it lessens our GREAT dependence on foreign oil and keeps money here for the farmers. And one day we may be able to use our own crude for that small 15% and be totally independent as relates to fuel and oil. (The diesel people can make their own bio-diesel.)

Here's another link to see if your car or truck can already run on E85.

the octane rating is like 105 isnt it?

so.. you have to phsyically do something to the vehicle to make it run on e85?
