Haha. That sounds wrong but what the hell. Has anybody seen the guy on tech that makes the crankshaft pulley reinstall tool? He has it in his sig. Just wonderin

I just put mine in the oven at 375 for 10 minutes and it slides right on.

pretty much did the same thing except used a microwave.

I tried the oven once, but found a torch to work better, just make sure you dont heat it up too mutch

Damn Steven, you're hardcore. I've never heard of that but I did see some Mexicans put a metal bowl in the microwave when we were on lunch break at work once. It didn't do anything though

Yea me and Exhappen boiled his and it still was a bitch! Guess we needed more heat. What temp does water boil (if anyone says 100*C i will kill you. ) We heated it up with a torch and it still was a bitch.

Anyways, anybody know who this guy is? TTT

OK, water boils at 212*F is that better dumbass? Take some grease, and coat the outside of the pulley (I understand sometimes youre slow, thats why Im not typing fast) the part that slips into the front main seal. Take a torch (propane works fine, but map gas is faster) heat the INSIDE of the pulley (the part that actually touches the crank snout) evenly till the grease starts to melt and barely bubble. Grab the pulley (wear gloves Beau, it WILL be hot) and it should slide all the way on. Then all you need to do is thread the bolt in. The grease lets you know before you get it too hot, and it lubes the seal when you slide the pulley through the seal.
