Default How do you guys pull your engine?

Well I'm in the middle of swapping my 4.8 for an lq9 and all I have left is the motor mounts. So where do you guys lift the engine from? My buddies are trying to lift it from the headers, I was thinking maybe the cylinder heads? Or removing the intake manifold and bolting on a engine lift plate? Thanks in advance

Get some grade 10.9 10mm bolts and put them in the cylinder heads diagonal across the engine and use a chain in the between them...or you can use 2 chains and cross them.

Yea I used bolts in the heads like int he picture. That seems to be the best/easiest way.

Dip stick tube bolt and the matching one on the other side.. Wiring harness stays with engine.
