GTO worth it?

I've been looking at GTO's ever since 2004 when they came out! I told myself I needed a truck, and ended up buying the truck I have now. Well, trucks paid off, and I found a GTO I like. 2006 M6 SRM with 51,000 miles, exterior/interior are in good shape, all for just under $16,000. Does this sound like a good deal? I'm thinking I'm going to go for it. I just need that extra nudge!

the suspension starts to sag at about 50k but if you purchase the pedders set up you'll love it. Also bone stock they dyno at about 350 hp and almost equal amount in torque. As for tires you can't really fit a large set in the rear I think about a 9 to 9 1/2 inch wide only. On the plus side they are very comfy and yes the sound sytem is great.

i loved mine but there built like crap, i had 15k on mine and had to have the rear seats recovered because the sticking was coming apart, at 22k the bushings in the front were wore out and were making the tires rub the struts so i sold it. they are a pain to launch with minimal wheel hop but the ride is very good.
i still like my truck better though

Thanks everyone for your replies. I'm thinking I am going to go look at it this week sometime. I've already seen a bunch of photos, but nothing like looking at the real thing and driving it to seal the deal.
It has to be a nicer ride than my Daily Driver 1994 Integra RS 3 door.

Well, go have fun in something that everyone knows is fast, including cops!
Agreed!!!
That's exactly what I intend on doing. I test drove it today and it rides beautifully! Any issue with the car's suspension was taken care of under warranty per the cars owner, I was told.
I was informed by the car's owner today, who worked at the dealership he bought the car from, that all issues were taken care of, including the rear seat stitching! Interior is Beautiful, so is exterior minus some curb rash on the stock 18"s. Drives very good, although there was no way I could get on it in afternoon traffic
.
If all goes well I should be a new pre-owned GTO owner sometime later this week!!!
I'll be back later with photo updates!
Anyone in the need for a fairly cheap 1994 Integra RS manual? It does have 206,000 but I have personally done all maintenance on it and it runs like a top! A couple of dents in the top door line, skin, and rear bumper from someone who thought it'd be nice to throw a rock at a poor defenseless little car!
