I knew not to speed up because I've heard of them stopping you for it. But if it ever happens again there is no way he'll be able to see that deer run out in front of me. assuming there's plenty of trees of course.

had a completely unmarked un-police style car do that to me on the highway once. It was a durango, going about 55 on the highway, I went around to pass, he sped up. limit was 65, which is what I was doing. He matched me, pissed me off, I sped up to 70, he matched it, sped up once more, he matched, so by this time I'm pissed, so I romp it for a sec, was in my cammed CC, got up and around, over the next hill was a cop, sure thing pulled over, when the durango went by he flashed some clear police style lights, almost like there ya go.
Galveston County has been known to use these unmarked cars for years on 45. My buddy got pulled over by a green Taurus SHO when we were in high school.

I had one tailgating me the other night while I was towing a trailer. He was so close the front of his car was under the bumper of the truck I was towing. I finally pulled over and waved him up, he wouldn't budge so I got out of the truck and with both hands waved him by. He got really ticked off but drove on. I didn't want him to drive off; I mean shoot, if he was going to tailgate me the whole way home to my driveway, the least he could do is use his spot light to light up my driveway and make things easier on me. If I could have seen the numbers on the car I would have called him in and reported him. Tailgating a trailer in tow is about the dumbest thing anyone can do, no matter who they are.

He stayed that way for a good 5 miles. I didn't want to give him a reason. There had been a wreck earlier, when I came through with the trailer empty. The same officer got his undies all in a twist because I didn't slam on the brakes and grind to a stop pulling a 2500 lb trailer. Instead I stopped the truck in the quickest controlled manner I could. If he was that worried about being hit, they shouldn't have parked 5 patrols cars inside a blind curve then stood behind them. When we got up to him at the wreck he was mad and fussing at us. All this despite the fact I got the truck stopped easily 250 ft from him. I hate dealing with people that think they know more then you, even though they have never pulled a trailer in their life.
I know it was the same officer later that night, I saw his face.
