Default EEEErrrrrrr, what a monday

Well I woke up this morning to a very sore back. I decided to press on to work. After about 15 minutes at work, my left leg went totally numb. Slow day, so I took off. I didn't feel like climbing a ladder, so starting my side job wasn't a option. I figured I would at least go out and see what tools were going to be needed so I will be prepared Wednesday when I get out there. One more curve to go, a idiot pulls out of a driveway knocks my drivers side mirror off the truck. I stop, he takes off. I am less then a mile from the police department so I go file a report. While I am there, the officer gets a call for a hit and run. He starts laughing, it was the guy that hit me claiming I hit him. He tells the guy to stay where he is. He got my information and sent me on my way. Since the other guy pulled out of his driveway, it was automatically his fault regardless of what story he could dream up. The officer wanted to know if I was limping from the accident.

I took the long way home so I could get another mirror for the truck. While at the salvage yard, I found a good rear axle for my work truck. It was recently rebuilt, and since the owner is a friend, he is going to let me get it now and pay him later.

Now that I am home, my back has calmed down. The feeling is back in my leg. To think, this could have been a perfectly normal day had my leg not acted up.

Is it just me or have drivers generally gotten worse lately. I have noticed people having an overall hateful attitude this year and their driving is really showing it.

I find myself having to drive defensive big time. If I hadn't taken to the ditch it would have been more then a mirror. The ditch run must have polished off my rear axle, now the truck is wobbling from the rear big time. It has been popping for about 2 weeks now.

Definitely not just the kids, it actually seems to be more of the age group that really knows better. It is really getting bad around here. The tailgating situation has gotten so bad that I now leave my extended hitch in the receiver all the time. People generally stay away from the back of my truck.

OK, even better. The guy that works for us got a job offer. That would be fine, except his job offer was a joint effort of 4 of our primary customers. Looks like he is going to take it.

Get this, COPS will tailgate and roadrage just to get people to mess up so they can pull them over. Cop followed my friend so closely you couldn't see his headlights, it was dark, he sped up a little, so did the cop, a little more, sirens...... Its terrible.
