Default Tranny buildup Monday

Truck goes in Monday to have the goodies installed;
Yank 3000
Mega Hoss Complete kit w/Kevlar band(includes Pump, clutch pack, sungear shell etc.)
Superior Super & Overdrive servos
.500 Boost valve
29 element Sprag
Thrust Washer Kit, Bearing and bushing kit and cooler.

I decided against the front and rear planetaries and hardened shaft. Also I'm having the lines rerouted away from the AZ headers-too close.
I couldn't find a poly Tranny mount so it's staying.
Anything Else while were under there?

Where did you get your parts from? If you don't mind me asking, what did just the parts cost, minus the converter? If I don't buy a new truck this weekend, the tranny will be built up within the next couple of weeks.
Thanks

www.kdsperformance.com A lot of the parts actually have to be ordered by speaking with Chad because there not on the Web page.I believe Hit Man X showed us the site a while back.

Glad I could be of some use. LOL. I picked up my TransGo and servos from Chad and he was building a 700 at that time in his office!

I'd install a TransGo while that trans is apart. It comes with the boost valve, 1-2 accm spring, and fixes tons of problems in the 4L60E...worth the extra $100.

Good luck!

Thanks guys, I think I finally understand what parts I need to beef this thing up.

Creederado, the 14.5 in your sig,is that recent? I would be curious to see your times after the trans build and stall.

Hit Man X, thanks for the write up you posted the other day. There was a lot of good info there. Very useful!

14.5 is what It runs consitently now with these Mods to date;Heavy 20x9.5-EFAN-KN-TBBP-AZ Headers-NO Cats-BBtriflo-HYP 3-180 stat-Hothkis-Driveshaft-3.73fac g80.
Wheather permitting I'm racing tommorow and running the MT ET streets 28x11.50-16 on Centerlines for the first time. The combo wieghs 40lbs compared to 75lbs 20's.
Tranny buildup starts Monday.looking to get out of the 14's with the addition of the stall and Drag radials.
