well you have to go in to the system bios and change a setting.
pci to agp and save it.
system will reboot and detect new device.
when it ask if you would like windows to search for drivers.
answer no and load up the cards cd and let it go to work.
or you can look on Nvidias web site and down load the latest
drivers for the card to a file and burn the file to disk and pop that in
and install.
reboot for the new drivers to take hold and you should be good.

no need for rad shroud.... running ultra kaze 120x35mm thick fans.... they are pretty loud... but they have excellent pressure.... so they work great on the black ice extreme radiator

sounds like a good build.... but why the intel board??? are you only planning on runninng single 8600?? and what games?? just got grid, and at
16xqxaaf that thing will sure make my gpus work hard

also just letting you know... the e8200 is a great chip but the FSB strapping is gonna keep you from going to far unless you get some faster ram... i got 1150mhz patriots for mine and i would never look back... i maxxed my old crucial ballistix out at a 4.8ghz benchmark run.. and killed a stick.....

thses patriots love the extreme fsb

drop me a pm and ill call you and discuss with ya further... gotta go to bed

nite bro

do me a favor if you can... mark so you remmeber where all teh cables go... then take them all of and take a few pics of the board so i can see....

take some pics of the vid card u want to install....

and if possible take a pic or 2 of the rear i/o shield area...

(where your keyboard plugs in)

that would help me help you alot

also when you go in bios... look for listing calle dintegrated perepherals... tahts usually where the onboard video can be disabled on both award and phoenix bios

Good to see i'm not the only one on here that builds my own desktop. My last build was in like late '05 after my other one was taken out by lightning.
Due for an upgrade soon.
Still plays COD4 like a champ tho

OMG That hits too close to home. At least I convinced my wife that two raptor 150's thay aren't as likely to get a virus. I know I know... lying is bad. Water cooling and overclocking FTW.
