the wow factor from the performance alone just may be more then i can take.

forgot to add.
processor arived today from newegg.
looking it over, i noticed the intel code for it, SLAPP
Performance wise i was thinking of an fx-53 like an fx-60 but that's a big difference. the 53 won't be a lot better than my 3500 now that I think about it, but we'll see.

Complete lay out is
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
Geforce 7800GT
OCZ650watt
Athlon 64 3500+ (clocked in right now 1110fsb 11xmulti 2442mhz 34C 1.4V)
1Gig corsair Twinx
Audigy 2
Samsung 200Gig 8Mb Cache
WD 250Gig 8MB Cache
WD 250Gig 16MB Cache

Not bad for a build in Oct '05. and NO Intel stickers
Got a ways to go to catch up will all the dual cores tho. ehh.. maybe i'll come across some more money and Git R Did.

you don't have to go overboard, just grab one peace at a time.
if you get the most expensive part out of the way the rest is cheap.

Yea. thats what I plan on this time around. my last 2 builds i did it all in one go. that was an exciting UPS delivery.

I'ma go with this new processor for a while just to give it a lil extra edge. Later I'll go ahead and pick up some GFX cards since i can use them in this system too. then get a CPU and Board.
That should cover it as long as the ram is compatible.
