What was the car that you took off the policy? I have State Farm and my insurance is high as **** because my wife had an accident a year or so ago. We were trying to figure out how to get the insurance premiums cheaper, so we considered dropping the insurance on my Suburban and just park it since I very rarely drive the damn thing anymore. My wife is disabled so she doesn't work, and I've been out of work ever since my back surgery. So with neither of us working, we actually do just fine sharing one vehicle. So the Suburban sits 90% of the time because it guzzles souch gas. We talked to State Farm about it, because I was thinking about dropping the Suburban off the policy for around 6 months or so. They said that it would actually be about $20-$25 MORE if I dropped the Suburban because I wod lose the multi-car discount. I didn't realize that the damn multi-car discount was so damn much.

GMCtrk Don't you live in Houston? Texas in general has extremely high insurance rates to begin with, but you probably already have experienced that lol

I too have State Farm. For a 2003 Cavalier liability, 1994 c1500 liability, and a 1982 Scrambler full coverage. Mine is $130 a month. No accidents on record either. The car is about $10 less than the truck.
