Default Love it or hate it?! This truck brings it..2012 Denali on 40's

I wanted to share this little bit with performance truck guys and a couple other truck sites because it's been interesting. I've owned this BBB or big black bitch about 3 weeks and gets all kinds of love and hate every time I leave the house. I own a 990HP wheel hp gas truck I built and tuned myself, own a clean *** LLY, and now this truck... It gets the most attention from "normal" non-gear head people. I'm enlisted in the Air Force so I'm not rich, but I understand the basic needs in the gear head world and I get the snazzy **** in the gear head world. This truck gets love in areas from it's a clean, nice, big *** truck, then haters it's too big, no point, how's it do in the mud pits? Honestly, nicest truck I've owned, but yeah it's different in its own way. It's a tad bigger then I'd went if I was buying the parts but hell it was done up already.

I picked it up well under blue book for a stock truck for its year and miles from a Toyota dealership in Texas. 2012 Denali, 35k miles, 4x4, 12" Bullet Proof, 24x12 American Forces, 40x15.50 Toyo M/T's, H&S mini max, deleted, 5" axle dump, S&B intake, tractions bars, air bags, Amp steps. Open to more love and hate. =) Cheers!

It's not my thing at all but what puzzles me the most about this hobby is anybody that gets so bent about what someone else did with their vehicle.

I've seen some stuff modified in such horrible ways that made me sad for the vehicle because it's now a POS, but those generally fall into a totally different category that any half-sane person regardless of their tastes will instantly recognize as automotive garbage that belongs in the crusher.

When people have a problem with whatever I'm driving, for whatever reason, my attitude is simply "good thing it's mine and not yours." Because I damn sure didn't build it to please them.

If it's well built, I can appreciate it. Actually saw a few donks that I thought were badass. I think it looks good.

I don't like the attention it would bring. And I don't want to mess with a lifted truck.

Something ive always wondered since ive never had anything but lowered trucks, im not what id consider short 5'11, but how in the hell do you keep something like that clean. Id get tired of using a ladder to change wipers or even just to look in the engine bay to check oil, and black is the worst to keep clean.. Nice looking truck besides the headlights tho..

Good looking truck. It flows together pretty well actually. The wheels go well with the lift!
