Hello guys..well I came upon a great sell...sounds too good to be true..its a 2000 HD silverado 4x4 with a 6.0 and 160k, its a clean truck..well of wat I can see in sevral pics I recived. I've emaild back and forth wih the seller and already been contacted by ebay and opend a payment protection case...all I need to do is send the money tru a ebay money gram..the seller is asking 2600 for the truck. It looks way under priced..wheels and lift alone should cost more than that....the seller said she is selling it because she got it in the devorce,but honestly don't want nor need it....any one has some input that would help me out???? Thanks

 

That seems risky. I am the type that would have to drive/see it myself. I have heard of some crazy good deals because of divorces though.

 

see if a member here that lives close to it will go by and take a look...

 

Do not EVER buy a vehicle sight-unseen. Always have an independent 3rd party perform an inspection.

 

Well ebay is going to hold the money till I give the go ahead..and I'm going to have 10days to check the truck out...if I don't want to keep it it gets shiped out back to the seller on her cost...so in other words she would loose a lot around 600 to 800 if she liedd bout the truck...if I find something wrong with it and send it back...

 

seems wayyy too cheap to be true. scammers are all over ebay.

 

See if she will give you the VIN number and u can run a carfax and see if anything comes back... of course things will only show up if the were reported i.e. wrecks etc. etc.

 

Yea I'm aware that the price is super low, and scamers are all over ebay..but the emails I've recievd from ebay seam legit..real..and since I'm sending the money to ebay and not the seller....um.....well I'm just hoping for the best...how do I run a carfax on it???
