Buying new Cell Phone. Verizon...help
#1
Ok, Im looking to buy a new phone for my wife. Hers got dunked and it only half works. She wants a blackberry or something similar but her brother just got a Galaxy S and its total bad *** so she is wanting one of those today lol.
Anyways. We got a Verizon contract and its nowhere near upgrade time. The DREADED CONTRACT. So this means if we buy thru them We will payy LIST PRICE which is gonna be like $499+ for a decent phone with the features we want.
Is there any legit site where one can purchase a new phone compatible with Verizon as a "replacement, non extension" purchase?
I have searched and searched but dont know whats legit and whats not. I know I can go to say Best BUy, etc. But didnt know if there was any tricks to where I may buy and save hundreds.
Thanks for the help in advance.

Any form of Droid is better than Verizon's other phones! Hell I'm on mine right now.
Oh and for future reference just spend the extra $5 bucks a month for the insurance! I've dunked like 3-4 phones. The deductible is $50 bucks then you get a new phone. Much easier than forking up close to $500 for a new one.

My suggestion, find someone with an old verizon phone and borrow it until you can renew your contract and get one at a discounted rate.
