Yea, 4wd won't help you much under those conditions...that's part of the big misconception about 4x4, a lot of folks (not referring to you bud )think that if you're 4wd you're invincible, but it won't help you stop and won't do much for you once you start sliding. It'll basically help you get going from a dead stop, where most other vehicles would just be spinning em, but that's about it.

Yep this was my first winter accident, snow was deep so it kept me from fish tailing but it was a very slight turn with a nice layer of ice under the snow, not much could of helped me, I was only doing about 30 kph, so speed wasnt an issue I was definently being cautious unfortunantly it didnt help, could of been worse though. Could of hit the thing square on instead of just catching the edge of one of the spouts

i would have kept going and went and saw her... but thats just me. but tht sucks.


i hit a cat right after i lowered my ss and RIPPED the air duct off along with the part of bumper where it screws into... so now i got a new one in the garage waiting for paint... all over some dumbass cat whos owners cant keep it inside when they live off a local highway

Yeah definently should of kept going, I was bummed enough about it that I wouldnt have completly enjoyed me evening...then again I didnt anyways so yeah I definently should of

yea u should of gone..told her that bad weather and not even a crash would of kept u from going to see her!!!!
lol u know atleast make the crash worth it....lol
