I thought the paint would get gummed up a little but I guess that makes sense it would burn right off. Lots of heat generated. Wasn't sure if it would glaze the pads at all.
Just do a couple 100-0 stops and I bet it would clear right off lol

I've seen people do this, it doesn't hurt anything from what I've seen. I wouldn't do it quite like that, but a little overspray on the rotor surface will be gone in seconds. Makes me wanna paint mine up LOL But no blue!

lol When I paint calipers dark colors like black and graphite gray, I don't tape off anything. I don't spray the rotor any more than I have to to achieve coverage of the caliper, but what does hit the rotor comes off in 3 seconds of normal braking.
