Default anyone use a 1/2" impact 500+ ft lbs?

its time for a new impact, an i believe the phrase "you get what you pay for"

im looking for a 500+ ft lbs 1/2" drive impact. i work on cummins, cats, detroits, etc.... so i need a good, long lasting impact.

im looking at this one, an supposedly they make a 2135 max or something like that but no info on its torque rating.

yeah but the cummins head bolts are 360ft lbs (6 per head) and the ones i work on are 6 cyl. 36 bolts at 360 ft lbs on a 3/4 drive torque wrench gets ya back and arms sore real fast!

we had a head drop 2 valves and i had to pull ALL 6 heads an my lil 250 ftlbs impact would barely pull the bolts after i already broke em loose

Can't speak for day to day use but I've had mine for 5 years and I've beat the **** out of it and its still working great. I've damn sure gotten my 60 bucks worth out of it(price back then). And its stronger than the other guns I've used, when this one croaks if they're still made then I'll buy another one for sure. HF has decent sales all the time and you can get them for 20-30 off.
