My aunt had that done and she can see find but after 3 years she still has to use eye drops all the time! I guess that's just a rare occurrence though..... glad the everything went good for you!

I want to get this done soon too. I've been waiting for my glasses to get really fucked up because I don't want to buy another pair and these are just about done. I can't see anything clearly that is further than a foot in front of me without them. Hopefully they can still do mine. How much did it cost you guys?

My night vision wasn't good before(with glasses) I had it done and still isn't. They say it takes up to 6 months for some people to lose the "halo" around lights but, we will see. I have a couple months to go yet. If it doesn't clear up, well, I didn't gain/lose anything at night really except not needing glasses to see.
I can't comment on how it affects people who can see well at night.

I had PRK done. You might want to look into it too. I got mine through the Army at 21 and going on a year. Because of my profession, I was advised to get PRK. PRK is geared toward active adults. I still had a choice in LASIK or PRK but for my job, PRK was the best choice. They all have there ups and downs but definitely ask your doctor about PRK. There are discomforts, on the third and fourth day I wanted to gouge out my eyes but all is fine now. Oh yeah I got to sport around Riddick glasses for a couple of days until I got myself some sunglasses. In that note get yourself some polorized sunglasses too, my doctor advised.

The best I can tell so far, my night vision doesn't seem to be affected. The only problem I am having now is dryness. My eys don't feel bad/dry, but most of the time I am seeing like I am wearing a dry pair of contacts. I'm not too worried at this point since it has only been a few days.
