I raced a 03 bolt on mustang christmas weekend an my buddies recorded it an posted it on fb an i posted it on this thread an a few others. Well yesterday i get a call from my buddy telling me his father a detective at the police department just watched our video along with most of the unit. His father wasnt mad at the fact we were street racing just that most of the force had to see an told him that it might attract some attention to us. Hmmmm guess ill stay outa my home town for a while

 

You'd think that with the amount of street racing complaints that go on that the state would help support setting up some 1/4 mile or even road courses.

Plenty of towns invest in setting up skate parks just to keep kids from skating or riding bikes on sidewalks and empty parking lots. That is WAY less dangerous than street racing. I realize there is a big price difference but that is money that can be made back by renting out the tracks.

 

Yeah an the place we raced has been used since the 50s according to my father an many other older guys. It would be ausome if they made a track around there, although theres one in SAR lil over an hour away an LMP less than an hour but everybody know how a spur of the moment street race comes about

 

You can make all the tracks you want but street racers are just that, "street" racers. Building all kinds of tracks wouldn't do much to change street racing. It'd be a terrible economic decision anyway.
