You guys get to have all the fun. Even suggesting to bypass a heater core might get you punched in the face around here.

Correct! On 99-02 models, blower fan switch turned off opens fresh air duct(vent). Outside air blows in. Not sure on 03+ models, but I THINK they are the same, just not positive.
