Default 2013 Silverado/Sierra New Engine Line!!!

Does anyone have the inside scoop on the new line of engines going in the 2013 silverado and sierra? All I've heard is that it will be an aluminum block pushrod v8.

I highly doubt that a seven-liter direct-injected V-8 will make it into any upcoming GM vehicle, let alone their trucks.

Sad but true.. I agree though would be badass.

I just bought a new truck with the biggest motor offered in a half ton though.. really don't want to have to get rid of it in a few years, I planned to hold on to it for a while LOL

probably similar to what for has done. maybe turbo caddy motor, probably an unchanged 5.3, and the 6.2. ive heard crazy things like a 8-speed or some crazyness, but if they had the minimax dmax engine available id say that would sell like hotcakes for guys not wanting to get a 2500.

Last I heard, the 4.5L Dmax program has been scrapped.
