Default 07 trailblazer new window regulater now controls are backwards?

Hello I swapped in the new cable style 07 trailblazer new window regulater now controls are backwards? I actualey have Saab 97x same as trailblazer.

I removed and replaced the complete assembly exactly (window at same height) as it came apart however when I press down window wants to go up and vice versa.

The electrical connections are all keyed so that eliminates the possibility of wire reversal.

Here’s the part I have for the front driver side door first one on this link https://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/20...lator_assembly

When the window failed I was out of town in Florida w/ 100%rain luckily we had a traupe to cover window stuck half down.
Before part arrived I was cruising around w/ the window duck taped to door now there’s extra stickie 3m duck tape glue inside some of the window seal making it difficult for window to slide, will clean w/ goof off.

I post image of what I’ve done. Thanks for advice.

Swap the wires in the window motor plug.

Shouldn’t be affected. The auto-down feature should be part of the switch or body control module.

With the way it is now, does it have “auto-up”?

It's likely a Chinese replacement and the wires are backwards. The mirror on my truck was like that. Replaced by someone else But not a Dealer part. The controls right to left were backwards.

first off I will clean all the 3m duck tape residue that was a mistake however it was 100%
rain and I didn't want to ruin the inertia.

could the the stickie window is effecting the controls porlarity? not the polarity because it's hardwired to the electric engine thought maybe the cars computer now controls windows.

sure hope the rear windows motor doesn't break because they are extremely expensive to replace? why so pricie on the rear regulater?

edit: I was am still am happy that the window is in the up position even though I'm not rolling it down. this is the rainy time of year.

I haven't pressed the window down and let it run though a complete cycle of either up or down because w/ the window not securely attached to regulater window isn't completely on track.

It’s been a while since i had the door panel off my Trailblazer, but most window motors have two wires. Switching those should solve your problem. At least in my opinion...
