your going to have to tell us more about your truck so we can help you properly, and i want to know how it is running, ET's and stuff.

what kind of blower? how much boost? what kind of FMU?

what kind of nitrous(wet or dry), what size shot?

ls1edit or some other ability to tune? atap? fuel ressure gauge?

do you know the exact part number of that pump that you got and is it an inline or intank?

if your using something like a whipple that came with it's own extra injectors and a wet nitrous kit then you shouldn't need bigger injectors. the truck fpr is adjustable, you use a small security torx to adjust it.

Default injuectors and fuel pressure regulater

I just added a 255lpg fuel pump. I was wanting to know if I should upgrade the injectors and should I have an ajustable fpr on it. Its a 5.3 with a sc,nos and alot of other upgrades. if so where do I get them?

I got a 99 5.3L 2wd ext.cab. tow haul package. powerdyne supercharger ( 6-8 lbs of boost) I have a smaller pulley and have seen 10 lbs before. The FPR is whatevere came with the supercharger. 100 shot edlebrock wet kit. I run the kit through the supercharger, its a kit that was for a carb motor, its cool. A superchips programmer for the SC and a hypertech for the shift points and speed limiter. I think I really need that ls1 edit? no fuel gauge. 255lpg intank fuel punp(#Gss340)Gibson headers with 2.5 aluminized pipe, no cats and true duals all the way back into turbo mufflers. BBK 80mm throttle body. msd wires. 4.10 gears. B&M performance shift kit. K&N air filter and I made my own induction and got rid of the air box. stock mass air sensor. stock tires(16*7) Its been 12.99 once with the small pulley but I get no traction and spark knock. with stock pulley it runs 13.40's and on bottle. I am putting the fuel pump in this weekend. I think I have a fuel problem and I need the ls1edit. All your help would be greatly appreciated. I was beggining to think I was the only one building a truck. Also which way do you turn the stock fpr? turn it in or out? thanks all. thanks parish8

sounds like a nice truck, 99, blower, nitrous, hmm, i like it .

i did alot of reading about nitrous and blowers and everyone told me not to spray(especialy wet) thru the blower. several reasons were given. might explode , might be hard on the blower, and the one that made the most sence was if you spray after you get more of a cooling effect since the air is so much hotter after than before.

next thing is the fuel pump, i am very interested to see how instaling that intank project goes, i had an intank pump sitting here and sent it back because people kept telling me there wasn't a good way to install it and get a good pick up going. i don't really know much about it and i let them scare me so i went with a addon gss340m inline. it is doing the job so far but a single intank would be better i think.

it would help to know how powerdine gets the extra fuel needed to go with the blower. is there a boost a pump? did it come with new larger injectors? did you just have to reprogram and that was it? usualy you have to do something to account for the extra air.

at your power level is seems like a fuel presure gauge would be a good idea. here is how i tuned my truck.

chucked the FMU that came with the blower, got some big injectors, tuned with ls1edit, atap and wideband. if you decide to go this route you will be able to find lots of help. you could also just try and work with what you have but you are going to at least need some atap logs(or some other scan tool) so we can try and get you a more acurate tune.

you probably dont want to just crank up the fuelpresure, there are lots of things that can be affected one of wich is you end up with less fuel volume from your pump, beside that it seems like you can only turn it up a little, something like 7psi i think.

Hey thamks for helping out. sounds like you got your truck running like a champ! I plan on buying ls1edit here in the next 2 weeks. If I get that do I still need atap and What is that anyway?? Once I get the ls1edit I'm also getting a cam and fuel injectors from thunder racing. I have a freind who is pretty good and he is going to help me install ls1edit. If you have any recommendations let me know, I want pure power, not gas milage. the thing about the blower, I run mine not really through it, but I run it inside the tube right before it goes in the throttle body. What that does is take the air being pushed in thats warm and cools it off with the nos. My friensd does the same thing with his drag bike. keep the info coming thouhg and I will let you know how the fuel pump goes.
