Not a damn one of you recommended a cam!!!!

What would be a good cam for HP and torque from 2000 to 6000 RPM?

If off the shelf. Isky triple 12
212/212 112 Lsa

Or custom in the following range
210/214 lift in the .550-.570 range on a 113+2

How about the BTR stage 1 truck cam?

I'm looking to delete dod later this year while adding an aftermarket cam and possibly some longtubes. Truck is an '09 1500 that is my daily. Wanting more towing performance and fuel mileage. Will be tuned on 87 and running the stock stall.

should work fine, but i'd also consider the stage 2... especially if it's a 5.3
i might've been recently-convinced of the BTR stg3 truck one for myself

got a 5.3 i want to cam for towing. thinking of a 220 or maybe lower i can change the stall but dont want to to start off. will change when i rebuild tranny but need it for dd for now. deleting the dod with probably a btr stage 3 truck cam. maybe stage 2 but im sure ill want more in the end. i dont tow a lot just a 5k fishing boat. any recommendations on the stage 3 maybe a stock stall setup or recommend a stall with cam? im gearing to 456 to compensate for the 35

I had the btr stage 2 In a 5.3 stock stall. It did lose a little bit of low end from idle to 2500. Then it would pick up after that. I was still able to pull my dad's 12' big tex dump trailer. I have 4.11 gears also. Stage 3 or a 220 might suffer a bit more if staying with stock stall. In the 6.0 that stage 2 is a monster down low. Pretty snappy. Now I'm putting in a 218/224 Howard's cam.

You want more torque add more lift. Thats how TSP does it and it works well for their customers and ours :-)
