thatd be a great option!!! but her jeep is paid off, and me paying for all of our bills and her college and stuff...not too much room left in the budget for a duramax, and its in great shape and she loves it so were not gonna sell it, but whenever I drive it, it drives me nuts and she doesnt like it either but shes used to it. so just trying to fix the problem the right way...

I don't think I'd jump ship yet. What about the steering box, is that good? If it's not it will cause that problem.

thats a possibility...its got about 110k on it...and its never been replaced
