the front isnt sagging, the rear is cocked up so it can tow more. drop shackles will level the truck out. most of the guys here use the 2" drop shackles to cure it

Default You can...

raise the torsion bars on the truck. This will make the front end sit higher.

I wouldn't use an impact unless you plan on maxxing the bars. Just jack up the front of the truck so both front wheels are off the ground and use an 18MM (if I remember right) socket and turn the bolt on each side an equal # of turns. On a 1/2 ton, 6 turns is about 1.25", on your truck it will probably be less turns. Let the jack down and bounce the front end a few times, take a side-to-side measurment and re-adjust if neccessary. Then go get an alignment.

you can use the keys from a 1/2 ton truck and they will act like the ford keys on a 1/2 ton. i would only recommend this if your stock keys are maxed out though. you wont need an alighnment unless you go up more than an inch. also leave the driver side 1/8 - 1/4 higher. and definatley use an impact unless you have a similiar build to hulk hogan lol.

Well, I guess I'm built like HH...I used a regular ratchet/socket to tighten mine on a truck in the Salt Belt, aka the Rust Belt, and it wasn't hard. The key is to jack up the truck to take some of the load off. I've seen guys break off the key bolts using impacts on trucks sitting on the ground...to each their own, though.

lol its not too bad if the tires are off the ground but still a pain. just do what you feel like. iv used an impact everytime and never broken a bolt. (iv put the ford keys on 5 diff trucks.)

i dunno just my experience but i can definately get more torque on a bolt using a socket wrench rather than an impact... but maybe thats just cause i am used to only having fairly budget impact/aircompressor combos....
