Yea, I got to get wider than 285s. And I agree with you, Im still going with the 33x12.5 on 17x9 with 5bs, its about the back spacing, and I had the same on my OBS. Im certain, Ill do the bare minimum to make them fit. Im trying to be lower to the ground this time for more handling. 1" if needed will be better than 4".

Would this kit fit a 2wd if needed? http://www.roughcountry.com/chevy_4w...6_tahoe-2.html Reason I ask is because I found this add: http://www.readylift.com/c-191-yukon...wd-25f10r.aspx < which states their lift fits both 2wd/4wds. I planed to go alternative cheap route for around $150, get ford keys, and some 1.5" spacers for the rear.. Pretty certain they clear.

Here is my old 07 Z71 4x4 classic with 33" nittos
Aftermarket keys cranked up about 2 inches
I don't think they will fit w/o rubbing using standard cranked to the max torsions
