Default HELP Leveling kit install

I just finished installing my leveling kit I got from offroadunlimited.com with the new tb keys and shocks. Problem is I put hte new keys in and put the adjuster bolts back to the same position and the front is 1 inch taller than the rear. I loosened the tb adjuster bolts some to try and lower the front but how must can I loosen them and be safe? I did 6 turns and it only has gone done 1/2 inch????

i have my adjustment bolt where only 3 or 4 threads are thru the block in the cross member. imo i would leave it about an 1in high because the keys will settle some in time

yeah drive it around a little bit and let the suspension work a little bit. i always find going over speed bumps work the best. then if its still higher then loosen the bolts some. i wouldn't loosen so much that the key is resting on the block. always leave enough bolt sticking out so that the key rests on the bolt.

I loosened to where there is about 1/2inch of threads between the block and tb key and its sitting level now. I will just have to check it again after driving around tomorrow. Do you think an alignment is neccesary if it still drives straight after the install.

I drove it a little after instaling and was suprised the ride is exactly the same as stock when I simply cranked the stock bars I noticed the ride stiffen up before.

Does that kit raise it up 2 inchs + some if you crank that down... What im trying to ask is whats the diff between those and my cranked up stock ones? Looking into this kit. Thanks

I installed the kit whith the 4 new shocks and it rides very close to stock. I previously had the tb cranked and the ride was rougher but i installed the new keys and the ride was much better. I drove it around for a week before I put on the longer shocks and the ride was ok with the stock shocks. It was very easy to install with the GM torsion bar clamp. The only problem was I thought I was getting the Bilstein shocks that are shown on the pic of the kit but they dont use bilstein anymore someone told me they are the edlebrock shocks. Overal I like the kit because the ride is virtually the same as stock, if I were to do it again I would probably just get the keys and get shocks from any brand you like.
