Default Ford Torsion Keys work on a GM Truck

are these compatible? Its for a 2001 Z71 Tahoe with a 6 inch superlift and super ride shocks with 35s. The front end is sagging alot after the install and want it higher in the front stock keys are not far from being maxed out, and one bolt is tighten much more than the other one.

If these will work, which year model keys do i get for it 2003? How much do they run at the stealership? How much lift gain over stock?

If I have heard correctly, you can get like 1.5'' out of the ford keys, have not heard anything about 2500 keys. You might just check a junk yard for them, stealerships will probably be high.

you got that wrong, 2500 Keys lower a 1500, 1500 keys raise a 2500, the only keys that will rise your 1500 is a leveling kit or ford keys. And if your brave enough to crank your ford keys enough you can exspect to get about 2.5 inches of lift

Finished the install in 3 hrs. I had to do alot of trial and error and did one side at a time. I did it with no clamp or torsion unloader. Just unhooked the upper control shock, tie rod, sway bar and forced the lower control arm down as hard as i could with a friend under neath matching the pattern and voila! According to the tape measure i got 4" of lift in the front after replacing the worn out torsion bars with newer ones and Ford Keys. Truck Looks FANTASTIC now!

soon of later im going to get some Hd bars and then i will install some 1/2 keys in order for more lift and with the stronger bar sagging wont happen as much.

I was going to do that but thought the other way around with Ford Keys and half ton bars was the ultimate way to go....time will tell lol or jsut when im sick of replacing torsion bars

Well there is that way and this way too.
GEt some rough country torsion bars ment for 88-98 trucks..
for them to work in a NBS you will flip them side to side and front to back and then install..
good torsion bars for 200$
