Its on the rack and bit late to change.....got them down to $900 and that includes a Meling HO pump. That price assumes that it isn't a stuck bypass which would make it about $650 for labor, gaskets and fluids. Their labor rate was the same as two other shops I called.

You should learn to work on your own stuff then. You could easily buy an entire motor for half that.

Being capable and available are two completely different things. With three jobs, my time is money!!!! If I can do the work in less than three hours, I do it myself. After three hours, I start loosing money.
