Default 4l80e install

How much would someone want to help me install this sucker? I would actually be helping you since you would hopefully be more experienced....

I have everything for the swap, but I've never seen the thing run. So, if it doesn't, the 4l60e will have to go back in... I dropped the pan and everything looked good (to me). It was from a wrecked truck.

Do you have a list of all the parts you have? I might be able to work something out.

well i see you have the crossover already. when i did mine back in the day i cut out the 60e ears. i then took a 3/4 ton crossmember and cut it down. the drilled and mounted it that way. a transmission jack would help you out a bunch.

02denali, I can't even count the number of people I have showed your wind noise fix for the extended cab windows.

I thought about doing the crossmember that way, but I actually had an extra 1500crossmember laying around.

Zach did his in about a day.

He's a great metal fab guy too . . . no worries

. . . I hear that he can pull an 80e and swap converters pretty quickly too . . .
