Default Who has added an amp to their NNBS BOSE system???

Well i just got a NNBS sierra and im looking to add a little more bass to it.
I've installed a few systems, but i have never messed around with a factory amplified system.
i found this thread: http://chevroletforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21917

now im just curious which LOC you all are using, everyone seems to recommend PAC, but which one.

Thanks

i did it on my cclb nnbs , it worked out ok at first with the jl cleansweep but quickly ruined the dam bose speakers. used a single tw5 13 in a sealed box with a 500/1 .

just recently added a 400/3 and some of the nicer jl components all around i think the zr series.

sounds alot better

i ended up calling pac and they said that AOEM-GM1416 would work with the bose in my truck. I like that it is just plug and play.

u should have asked to hear my truck , i didnt get to rock the bass the entire trip because it was rattling the guys clitorus in the back seat .

that pac piece is decent though . i just am a jl buff and the cleansweep process's the sound very well and adjust for the crap mp3's that are out there .

depending on sub you may like how it sounds with just a little more bass . for me the single 13 tw5 was too much and i had to amp the stock bose' . i lasted for about 6 months before they got bad and replaced them with components. Sucks now i need a larger power wire or a nice cap . as i get a voltage drop at times and the high's will cut .

im happy with it and wont change a thing now . the single tw5 is enough for me now and more than enough for my passengers lol.

just used the pac AOEM-GM1416 on a Nav upgrade in my truck(2009 sierra) , it plugs into the orig harness and needs no splicing really easy to add a amp. I only have one problem .. I think it may be the trigger wire for the amp out of the pac module and its making a pop in my speakers when the truck starts or the RAP turns the radio off ?

Sorry for bringing this back from the dead, but how did that PAC piece work out? Will it work with factory nav, or just the regular head unit with BOSE? I would love to upgrade my high's after my recent subwoofer install.

I have an 09 Denali with NAV and BOSE.

I have a converter going to my subwoofer amp, tapped off of the stock bose sub. I am trying to add a highs amp, would the signal from that work for a full range amp as well?
