where to install thermostat sensor

Converting to electric fans on my 5.3 Silverado just curious where does thermostat sensor go I heard head or intake manifold someone help me out.

If you're talking about the coolant temp sensor, the factory sensor is in the driver side head in front of the #1 exhaust primary. 19mm deep well socket.
