Cool w/t fog light install.

Hey guys i'm trying to install fog lamps on my 07 nnbs sierra w/t and is not pre wired for this install so my question is, should i buy a factory harness? or build my own? I already installed the housings and bulbs and new switch.

You need a head light harness that is pre wired or the factory accessory kit to install the fog lights but I don't think they sell the add on harness separately.

You can make your own and tie it in to the fuse block like the factory does. You just need the fog lamp plugs and the pin locations in the fuse block under the hood.

wow that ebay harness is expensive

just make one yourself, its pretty simple.
you can either buy the 5202 connectors or use HIDs. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-PCS-5202-H...-/121198281908

Seeing as how the OEM kit for 07-13 is around $300 and he already has the other parts I would do the same.

Just need to find the part number for the Pin under the fuse block.

The 07-13 factory GMC fog lamp kit is PART # 19170447

I came across another thread that showed you could by the front lamp harness that has fog lamps wired in for the 07-08 from GM under Part number 25866139

T96 was RPO code for the fog lamp option.

I added a couple fog light kits to some friends trucks and I just went the factory route. Want to say it was around $300 per kit but thats including the fog light housings factory harness and DIC panel switch. They plug and play super easy and look factory when done. Cant beat the look of OEM, but thats just me I don't really like seeing random switches and relays mounted everywhere.
