Adding XM to 03 S10

Adding XM to 03 S10
Today I went to the junkyard and pulled an XM module and wiring harness for it out of an 05 Envoy. Initially I tried hunting down every wire and not cutting it but some wires went too far into the harness to get. What I have is this.
Factory plugs from both ends.
The left and right audio signal wires as well as the common and the "drain" wire are still connected on both ends.
The wires I had to cut are as follows
On the radio connector side
Dk Green/White wire (as far as I can tell it is the class 2 bus wire)
On the XM connector side before the 8 inch long adapter cable
Solid Orange wire
Solid Light Yellow wire
Black/White stripe wire.
The purpose of this was to add an XM module to my 03 S10 so I can use an AAI GM12 aux input interface. I cant find any definitive wiring diagrams that point me in the right direction.
Can I assume that the class 2 data bus wire can just be spliced into the bus wire on the 24 pin connector?
The XM doesnt need to work as far as broadcasting or being unlocked I just need it there as a slave to switch between with the adapter
If Im not clear on this please just ask and I will try to clarify as best I can.
P.S. I have a factory XM capable head unit that I am going to put in the truck.
