Default Type r 10"

Has anyone used the newest 10" dvc type r's? I was planning on 2 of them in my truck with a 1200 watt rms power acoustic amp. Any feedback on how they sound?

Sound is greatly dependant upon the enclosure design. I'd definitely recommend a ported box for type-r's, but they should handle that power absolutely fine.

I was planning on a custom dual down firing box to fit under the back seat. It should be easy enough to make it ported

...provided you have enough room. Type R's are on the deep side to be trying to fit under a seat, but best of luck to you.
