Default 07' classic Ipod/Aux input adapter

My buddy just picked up a 07' classic 2500 d-max with the BOSE stereo package and he asked me if there was any way to keep the factory radio while using his iPod. I searched the web and found this aux adapter, Just wondering if anyone has used this or knows anything about them. here's the link with the adapter http://www.crutchfield.com/g_50900/A...s.html?tp=1672

If it had the xm module behind the glove box you can splice into that for the cost of a cord ($10). I did it this way with my 06 dmax w/Bose, works perfect.
