Tach laggin issue. Need help

Default Tach laggin issue. Need help

Anyone have experiance with a aftermarket tach lagging? I installed a autoguage tach and it idles about 300 rpm to low then when you rev it the tach won't go past 2000. 03 Silverado. RCSB. Any help would be appreciated

I know it sounds stupid but make sure it's set on correct # of cylinders. Had a buddy install one on his sand rail and acted like what u described and it was set on 6 cylinder and he's running a ls6. Hope that helps.

Ls motors are 4 banger motors for tachs

How did you hook up the tach I got one and I want to hook it up I have an 01 Tahoe don't know where to get my tach signal from

No but remove your cluster look at plug that goes into cluster youll see a white wire..tap into that and youre set

So just splice into white wire and that's it
