Default Sirius box mounting tips

I just purchased a new alpine deck and the sirius fm modulator box. I was wondering where do you mount it. I was thinking under the seat, but I'm looking for an easier place under the dash. thanks.

how big is that box? i know if its pretty small like other fm modulators it will fit behind the head unit. theres plenty of room back there.

yeh its not that big, prolly 5x7 inches. It came with 8ft of cord, so it can go pretty far. I havent tore apart the dash yet so i dont know how much room is back there. Thanks for the suggestion. By the way I have always admired your truck, and your work, I appreciate you chiming in.

I zip-tied my XM box to the steering coloum support and snaked the wire up to the deck, its worked out well for me, its out of the way and fits in there perfect. You could also try mounting it where the factory XM tuner goes, behind the glove box I beleive- its a decent size so your FM mod. should fit fine

i put my tuner for my indash behind the glove box and my xm tuner behind the radio. theres a little pocket off to the right i believe where you can put that little box in and it will pretty much hold itself in. thanks for the compliments and good luck
