I had that problem and most of the people I know with the factory 92-95? radio have that buzz problem. Some more than others. I took it back to the dealer and tried other dealers. One claimed he didn't hear anything, and others said it couldn't be fixed. I tried r/f plug wire, shielding the radio wires, and r/f cap. on the alternator. Finally, I bought a new Alpine radio/cd system and the buzzing stopped. I think the problem is the factory graphic-equalizer.

There is some type of filter that I put on mine for the heck of it, just so i didnt ever have any interference. I forgot exactly what its called, but its from radio shack and its like $35.. and im sure they are all over ebay for like $10 or less.

My friend had that problem when he installed a new system. I believe he used a filter to fix it. I can ask him, if he remembers.

i took the ground straps off and cleaned them. didnt help one bit. i ran a separate power and ground from a battery charger to hte radio. it took care of all the static from the accessories(windows, locks, lights) but the enigne RPM static is still strong as shiz.
