Single 10" sub box for Crew Cab, who has built one?
#1
I want to add a single 10" sub to my 2006 Silverado Crew Cab and I will probably end up building my own box.
I'm going to make one that goes behind the back seat with a built in mini amp rack/mount. Has anyone else built one or did you just buy the JL Audio dual 10" box?
I'm not looking for max bass output, just want to add some bass to the stock system, so an average 10" sub with a depth of 5" or so.
Anyone have any pics to share?

yes, will work fine If I remember correctly I got 1.5 cubic feet with my amp rack recessed had to remove the flaps on the bottom covering vents and the box sat on the bracket and the air vents. I screwed mine to the back of the cab. I ran a memphis m class 10 that has a mounting depth of 5 in.

I have a friend that has a crew cab with Bose and wants to add this as well. For the exact same reasons too. Very interested to hear how this works out. I never even looked behind the back of the back seat, is there that much room back there? Would it not be easier to get air space and proper sound from under the botom of back seat? Good luck Billiumss, let us know how it goes.
