Default radio help

2003 silverado ss with 6 disc and bose.my radio is reading initializing and wont change, eject or play cd's


anyone know the fix

Common problem. You'll likely have to replace the head unit. Seems like most GM factory head units eventually develop an appetite for CDs.

basically, take it out, get a hammer and bust it open..then remove ur CD's....or just use a screw driver..its broke anyway..might as well have some fun.

haha funny this is. the took a pair of snips and cut the b*tch open to get my cds.

Sell the broken thing on Ebay. Lots of people want them for parts, especially if the buttons arent worn down.

i would say that the cd mech in it went out..and like others have said your best bet is to take it out. cause you will be looking at the least $250 to get it fixed
