that dimming is annoying and hard on your electrical system, caps are cheap and easy to install, I got one.

Have you upgraded the wiring for your electrical system?
Caps can work, but don't use one as a bandaid for an improper charging system. A cap should be a last resort IMO. I have 2 amps, e-fans and notice very little light dimming without a cap.

Caps are a bandaid, as stated already. It's a lot cheaper to get 15 feet of 1/0 wire and redo the big 3, and you will most likely see the same, if not better results then a cap.

im going to be putting, a 400w kicker amp, kicker componets, kicker 4x6 and running my deck off the factory charging system(possible two 10's and a second amp later). think i should be ok with out a cap due to the fact i have the high output alternator and dual batteries
