another problem...alternator noise

Default another problem...alternator noise

i guess i have been out of the game too long with all this problems with this new system i put in, i didnt hear it before i adjusted the low pass filter and the bass boost on the amp, but now i hear the whine thru all the speakers.

the one thing i can think of is a better ground.

ideas?

Redo the ground


where do you have the ground? what kind of deck do you have? how is the power wire run? are your RCA's pinched anywhere along the line?

man i did a shotty job on the ground, i attached it to the bracket that holds the seat, i think im going to bite it and cut a whole in the carpet and go straight to the frame.

not sure about the RCA's. but you might be on to something, it didnt do it until i adjusted my amp, maybe i did pinch one putting it back down.....

details in 2 hrs!
