Can anyone tell me how to tell if my 97 tahoe came with keyless entry! It had aftermarket alarm but it no longer works & would Like to set to factory if it's a option!

 

My 95 Tahoe Sport came with keyless enrty, im sure yours is equipped also.

Get a key fob and the dealer can set it up for ya.

 

Well see I found website that says to connect jumper wire from 4 to 8 pin on di port & doors locks should cycle! It does nothing! So I'm thinking maybe something is unhooked do to aftermarket alarm!

Does these models have bcm's

Yes they do have BCM's. You an call a dealer and give them the last 8 digits of the VIN and they can tell you if you have it as an option. If you don't, it will be too expensive trying to get the keyless entry / alarm module. it's about $2000...
