I have a 2004 Silverado that I bought used and I want to know if it could have keyless entry or maybe a factory alarm. I have power locks and power windows (LS package) but I didnt get a remote with the keys so Im not sure if I may have either.

I want to put an alarm in my truck with keyless entry, but I want to see if there is a way to see if it was an installed otion, and all I need is to get a remote and program it.

 

bump for this. I have the same question as the place I bought mine at had to have keys made since they couldn't find the originals....

 

Turns out I don't have the module for keyless entry/alarm. I called the dealer and they found out with the last 8 digits of the VIN. The new module runs almost $2000 though. So I ordered a Viper instead.
